Interested in Science? Want to volunteer with the TOPS Program, presented by San Joaquin County Office of Education!
TOPS program seeking volunteers
November 26, 2013

Passionate about Science? Looking to give back to your community? We have an opportunity for you!

San Joaquin County Office of Education's Teaching Opportunities for Partners in Science (TOPS) program is looking for "partners" who are willing to volunteer 8-10 hours a month at an elementary school and teach science to kids grades K-6.

TOPS is a comprehensive partnership program to help schools tap into the science expertise that exists in our community. The TOPS partnership combines the knowledge and skills of the classroom teacher with the content and knowledge of the TOPS partner. TOPS partners range from retired scientists, engineers, physicians, pilots, and more to part-time Science professionals looking to make an impact in their local community and share their passion for science.

For more information about how you can become a TOPS partner, call Nancy Stenzler at 468-4881 or email nstenzler@sjcoe.net.
